September Biking Walking Events – This weekend and next there will be wonderful events for you to enjoy walking and biking on car free streets and park ways, including Open Streets West Broadway Sept 10, & Nicollet Sept 18,  the St. Paul Classic Bike Tour Sept 11, the Minneapolis Bike Tour Sept 18 and TWO WHEELS ON 28TH Sunday, Sept. 18 in St, Louis Park

Open Streets W Broadway: Saturday, September 10th, 2016 On Broadway: Between Lyndale & Penn Ave N  in North Minneapolis. We create miles of safe, car-free streets so that residents of all ages can walk, bike, shop, participate in spontaneous play activities, and get to know one another.

Open Streets Nicollet: Sunday, September 18th, 2016  On Nicollet: Between Lake & 46th Ave S in South Minneapolis, the perfect chance to promote healthy living, local businesses, sustainable transportation and civic pride in Minneapolis.

The 22nd Annual   Saint Paul Classic Bike Tour – Sunday Sept 11

The Saint Paul Classic is a showcase for the handsome parks and parkways of Saint Paul. The 22nd annual Saint Paul Classic Bike Tour will take place on Sunday, September 11, 2016. Don’t miss this family-friendly Saint Paul tradition!

Minneapolis Bike Tour – Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board

Sunday, September 18, 2016  8am

The 10th annual Minneapolis Bike Tour starts and ends at beautiful Boom Island and features three fully supported routes, 16 miles, 25 miles, and 32 miles, that take riders through the spectacular park and byway system of Minneapolis at their own pace, traffic free!

TWO WHEELS ON 28TH Sunday, Sept. 18 in St, Louis Park

Two Wheels on 28th event is a demonstration of the proposed 28th Street bike lane that will create a safe east to west connection for bikers going between the Texa-Tonka business area and the pedestrian bridge over Highway 100. Experience the added safety and comfort provided by temporary bikeways and stop at interactive booths that promote biking and St. Louis Park, while enjoying a leisurely ride with family, friends and community!
